Weight Loss Supplement Hype

How does a person cut through the hype about weight loss supplement to find one that really works? First, disregard all weight loss supplement advertisements that claim you can lose a great deal of weight in a very short period of time.

If a weight loss supplement advertisement has a testimonials from someone who lost 20 pounds a week, you know it is a scam. No one can lose that amount of weight in a week, even if they were stranded on a deserted island with no food.

Some natural weight loss supplements claim that people can lose weight without any change in diet and without exercise. Only the reputable natural weight loss supplements have honest claims that their products help you lose weight in addition to a low calorie diet and with increased exercise.

There is no mystery blend of herbs or roots that makes the weight fall off. Any weight loss supplement that does not clearly list it's ingredients should be avoided. Watch for proprietary blends that are vague. They usually contain cheap ingredients that the company doesn't want you to know they are using.

If you decide to try a weight loss supplement, use your head. If the product claims sound too good to be true, it is a scam. Your goal is to lose weight, not money.
